Logistics is the part of product development that most consultancies hand back to you once the product is manufactured. You get the goods ready for shipping and then you are on your own: finding a freight forwarder, managing customs, coordinating delivery, and hoping nothing goes wrong.
Pro-Dev does not work that way. We manage the full logistics chain from factory to your door, through our own logistics partner, so you do not have to deal with multiple parties or navigate unfamiliar processes.
What Door to Door Actually Means
When we say door to door, we mean it. Once your product passes quality inspection at the factory, we take over. We coordinate with our logistics partner to arrange freight (sea or air depending on volume and urgency), manage customs documentation and clearance, handle any duties and tariffs, and coordinate last mile delivery to your warehouse, your distribution centre, or directly to your customers.
You agree one amount with us that covers the manufacturing and logistics. You do not receive separate bills from the factory, the freight forwarder, the customs broker, and the delivery company. One amount. One partner. One point of accountability.
Why This Matters
For first-time product developers in particular, managing logistics for an international shipment is genuinely complex. There are customs classifications to understand, duties to calculate, documentation to prepare, and timing to coordinate. Getting any of these wrong can result in delays, additional costs, or goods held at customs.
For experienced product companies, having logistics managed as part of the overall project means fewer parties to coordinate, clearer accountability when something goes wrong, and less time spent managing suppliers.
Markets We Have Shipped To
We have managed logistics for products shipped to New Zealand, Australia, the United States, and other markets. If you are selling into multiple markets from a single production run, we can coordinate multiple delivery streams so your inventory goes where it needs to go.
